The KrAZ-260 is a Soviet six-wheeled military truck developed by the KrAZ company in the mid-1970s. The vehicle is designed for transporting personnel and cargo across all types of terrain.

Production of the KrAZ-260 began in the early 1980s, replacing the earlier KrAZ-255B on the assembly lines at the Kremenchuk motor vehicle plant. However, the vehicle was not revealed to the public until 1985, when units were shown towing 152mm 2A36 field guns during a parade on Red Square. The KrAZ-260 is capable of towing loads weighing up to 10,000 kg when fully loaded (or 30,000 kg when empty). A winch is fitted as standard beneath the cargo bed and can be operated to pull from either the front or the rear. The general appearance of the KrAZ-260 is similar to the earlier KrAZ-255B model, but the hood is more angular to accommodate a turbocharged diesel engine, and its overall dimensions are slightly larger. As far as can be determined, the KrAZ-260 was produced exclusively for military purposes and, notably, was not supplied to armed forces outside the Soviet Union.
     Existing variants include the KrAZ-260V tractor unit, used to tow various semi-trailers. It was also used to tow trailers carrying S-300 missiles. This tractor features a 6x4 drive configuration, a slightly longer wheelbase (4.88 m + 1.4 m), and a road payload capacity of 16.8 tonnes; it is used for long-range logistics tasks, leaving the standard KrAZ-260 to handle front-line cargo transport.
     In 1999, the KrAZ-6322 was introduced as an improved version of this heavy truck.
